THE MATH BEHIND THE VISUAL

Bundles = round up (scenario area ÷ coverage per bundle)

Educational planning tool · Example values are not measurements of your property.

How many bundles cover the area?

Multiply net sloped area by (1 + waste percentage ÷ 100), then divide by the selected product’s coverage per bundle. Round upward to whole bundles only at the end. Coverage varies by product; use the product label.

A worked example

For a synthetic 2,000 sq ft roof, a chosen 10% allowance makes 2,200 sq ft. At an example coverage of 33.33 sq ft per bundle, 2,200 ÷ 33.33 = approximately 66.0066. Round up to 67 bundles. The entered coverage matters: do not round it to “three bundles per square.”
